Thomas (Tom) Schneberger, CFP®, CPA, MSFS, PFS

Tom Schneberger is a Certified Public Accountant, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and a Personal Financial Specialist. Tom earned a Master of Science in Financial Services degree from St Joseph’s University in January of 2008. He began his personal financial planning career in 2008 working for a local CPA firm in Sarasota Florida and subsequently completed an internship with a wealth management firm located in Seminole, Florida. Tom joined Prometheus Capital Management in July of 2011.

Tom is dedicated to working with clients to develop a comprehensive financial framework that is designed to help them meet their life-long financial goals. In order to accomplish these objectives, a comprehensive financial plan is developed that covers a number of key planning subject areas and ultimately forms the basis for his planning recommendations. These subject areas include: preparation of personal financial statements and an analysis of a client’s current financial situation; investment planning; Income tax planning; education planning; risk management; retirement and estate planning. Tom works with each client to make sure that they have an understanding of their current situation and the basis for each of his recommendations. Once a plan is completed, Tom works to facilitate implantation of his recommendations. Subsequently, if desired, Tom works closely with each client to monitor their progress toward their financial Goals.

Tom is a seasoned financial professional with a long track record on success with a major pharmaceutical company. His experience includes an overseas assignment as Chief Financial Officer in Mexico, chief finance positions for two different pharmaceutical divisions, financial management of new product launches, corporate financial reporting and investment analysis, financial analysis for product and affiliate acquisitions and divestitures, financial analysis of licensing opportunities and personnel management

After working with Prometheus Capital Management and its staff on a personal basis, Tom became interested in the personal financial planning process recognizing that he could utilize his background and experience to help others (individuals and small businesses) plan their financial future. He decided to make a career change and become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certificant. Initially, he earned a Masters Degree in Financial Services (MSFS) from St Joseph’s University, Philadelphia and subsequently passed the certification exam to become a CFP® Certificant.

Tom grew up in the north east and worked for many years in the Philadelphia area living in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Tom and his wife, Joanne, currently reside in Cape May, N.J .and Bradenton, FL.
